Make money with Ads by Google

A lot of people have found a steady income builder with pay-per-click programs. Search engines like Overture.com and espotting.com let you bid for keywords.

You pay anywhere from two cents to several dollars to have your site listed at the top when prospects search with keywords you choose.  It is a great way to get qualified prospects to your site if -and it's a big if...

  1. Send people to a page that focuses on the product or service advertised in the link.  When people get to your site, don't make them look too hard to find what they came for.
  2. Advertise products and services that are in demand and exceptional values.  You will turn a far higher percentage of visitors into buyers.  People who buy are far more likely to also purchase your more expensive items now or later.
  3. Go for highly targeted traffic.  While more general keywords will get additionl people to your site (and cost you more, too), more specific keywords or phrases will attract a smaller but more targeted audience.  With highly targeted keywords, you spend less and get better sales.

(Note from Marketing Magic.. this sound advice applies not only if you are using Pay-Per-Click programs, but in any situation where you can direct visitors to specific parts of your web site).
